Royal Gold Crown

Introduction

Today, like no other time before, this generation is being challenged to submit and bow down to the kingdoms and mindsets of this world. Make no mistake the will and intent of earthy kings and people of authority are being impressed upon our families; trying to influence the way we think and the choices we make. Coupled with the birthing pains of the last day tribulations marking this day and hour, it has become easier and easier to walk in fear and compliancy, allowing strongholds of darkness, played out within the flesh of men, to weaken our walk as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.

But make no mistake the “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalms 24:1, NKJV). We may live in the kingdoms of this world, but we live for the Kingdom of ALL the world; that is the Kingdom of Heaven. We must renew our minds and teach our children how to walk in the kingdom authority of heaven and see God’s ultimate prayer and will for us and through us come to pass, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Matthew 6:10.

If our children, the Fire Starters of their generation, are going to see the Kingdom of Heaven come to earth they must learn to look through the viewfinder of a Kingdom Government; but not just any Kingdom, but the Kingdom of Heaven. Through these lenses they will see who they truly are in Christ, who Christ is in them, and what their purpose is on this earth. They will clearly walk in kingdom authority and power doing what they were created to do; transferring the will and intent of the King of Heaven to earth. I invite you to take this journey with us by bringing your kids ages 8 and up to these monthly meetings, or taking the time to share these monthly written teachings with your family.

Original Kingdom

The Bible in its rawest definition is about a king, His kingdom, and His citizens. A kingdom is the oldest form of government and originated with God Himself. The Kingdoms of this world have only mimicked or transformed some of the principles found in God’s original kingdom government. God’s principles found in His kingdom was so important to Him that Jesus used them when teaching the very gospel message we live by today. Let’s get started with some basic foundations this month:

Who is a King?

A king is simply someone who is born and set in high authority to own and reign over a particular land and people.

What is a Kingdom?

A kingdom is a kings government that influences his land (territory or nation), changing it to look like, act like, sound like, talk like, and be like the king himself.

Whatever the king desires and wants is transferred to his kingdom.

He has complete authority and ownership over all of his land and people.

A king has all the power of his government and kingdom and he alone decides the laws the people must obey.

What is a Colony?

A colony is a territory of land that is controlled and subject to a country that is usually far away from it.

The intent of any kingdom for its colony is to have it look like, act like, and be like the original kingdom.

Today we can see evidence of this with all of Great Britain’s influence on America as we were originally her colony.

Kingdom verses Democracy                                               old glory

A democratic government is a government that is set in place to dictate or put in place the will and intent of the people.

A democratic government receives its power and authority by a written constitution, not the president.

Although a president is the head of a democratic government, he does not own the land or the people and he is there merely to make sure that the constitution and will of the people is upheld.

Ultimately the power and authority of a true democratic government is in the hands of the people.

Earth-First Colony of the Kingdom of Heaven

Heavens Open Ornate GatesIn the beginning, God created the earth as His land or territory expanded from heaven; its colony.

God created the earth as the Kingdom of Heaven’s colony with the intent to expand His kingdom from heaven to earth; that the earth may look like, act like, and be like Heaven.

In the very prayer that Jesus asked us to pray we can see this intent “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt 6:10, NKJV).

In fact, the description of the Garden of Eden in Genesis resembles the description of the Kingdom of Heaven (see Genesis 2:9 & Revelation 22:2).

Mankind’s Role in the Colony of EarthCrown of light

Mankind was designed to oversee God’s territory on this earth. Psalms 115:16 says, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men” (NKJV).

We do not own the earth, but God has given us the earth so that through us He may rule over it.

We were made to obey the government of Heaven and influence the earth with that government.

What He says and does, we should say and do on this earth, just like Jesus who said he only says and does what he sees His Father saying and doing in heaven.

He made man in the image of Himself and Jesus so that we may rule over the territory of earth with His characteristics and likenesses.

God tried to ensure that we would rule not only with His character but also with His heart when He breathed life (His Spirit) into man (Genesis 2:7).

Adam and Eve were to be the first of mankind with God’s spirit living in them to bring heaven to earth.

Their headquarters was the Garden of Eden, which was the only tangible piece of land so far on earth that looked and acted like heaven.

However, all of this came to a standstill when Adam and Eve rebelled against their King and decided to obey and appoint a new king in their life, Satan.

Adam and Eve were forbidden to stay under the covering of the government of Heaven and were taken out of the Garden of Eden, which represented the Kingdom of Heaven on earth (Genesis 3:23).

Suddenly, through man by sin, Satan set up a new Kingdom on this earth called the Kingdom of Darkness. Satan, as the King of Darkness, began to influence his government of bad and evil on this earth.

God chose the Israelites as His people and tried once again to establish His kingdom on this earth through them.

God through the Israelites established a Kingdom of Priests (Exodus 19:6) with Him as their king.

However, the Israelites eventually were not satisfied with being ruled from heaven; they wanted their own earthly king to rule over them.

God gave them an earthly king and told Samuel, “For they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them (1 Sam 8:4-7, NKJV).

God’s intention was never to place earthly kings over the earth or humanity; His desire has always been to be our king.

Soon humanity found out that having an earthly king was not always good. An earthly king could produce evilness.

Allowing the minds of our family to be renewed into a kingdom mindset is crucial for this day and hour we are living in.

Living in America we have been indoctrinated and surrounded by a democratic culture and government. Although that has great benefits it also has lent itself to ignorance and a lack of knowledge and understanding concerning the kingdom we are to be under and serve as followers of Christ. As great of a nation as our forefathers established, perhaps the injustice unforeseen is that the King of Kings would be omitted from her, and a generation would rise after our forefathers who did not understand the principles of a Kingdom. The toxic mix of a kingless democratic government who has refused to establish the one true King over her has ultimately cultivated a self-centered, self-serving, idolatry nation. We have in many ways transferred these selfish and self-governed ideologies into our church culture making God’s righteousness and ways up for a vote; looking to be our own king even while declaring Jesus Lord over our lives. We have cried out for the benefits of the King of righteousness, but do not bow our knees and will at His throne. It is time for the church to repent for crying out for an earthly king like His people did so long ago and receive and accept our one true, perfect, and good King to rule over us again. Amen
